Sketch London, Location: Mayfair

Sketch is the blueprint for experiential dining. Its Gallery room—famed for its pink velvet chairs and witty David Shrigley illustrations—has now evolved into a warm, golden haven with sunlit yellows and arched wall panelling. Meanwhile, the egg-shaped pod toilets are arguably more photographed than the food. Every room is a world of its own, and no detail is too small to be curated.
Instagrammable for: The futuristic bathrooms egg pod, theatrical afternoon tea sets, and ever-evolving interiors.
Bob Bob Richard
Location: Soho

A masterclass in glamour and Gatsby-era indulgence, Bob Bob Ricard is instantly recognisable for its rose-gold “Press for Champagne” buttons—one at every table. Booths are clad in rich navy or blush pink leather, bordered with polished brass and mirror accents. It’s where Art Deco meets a playful modern decadence.
Instagrammable for: The champagne button, gilded interiors, and vintage train-car booth layout.
Alto by San Carlo
Location: Selfridges Rooftop

Perched atop Selfridges, Alto blends Capri elegance with London skyline views. Think lemon trees, linen parasols, and cascading blooms—like a Ravello garden party suspended in the clouds. The space transforms with the seasons, offering cosy faux furs and twinkling lights in winter and a full Mediterranean fantasy in summer.
Instagrammable for: Al fresco tables framed by florals, lemon tree archways, and that rooftop golden hour.
Dalloway Terrace
Location: Bloomsbury

A poetic escape tucked behind The Bloomsbury Hotel, Dalloway Terrace changes with the seasons—quite literally. Its floral installations evolve through spring cherry blossoms, autumn foliage, and snow-dusted firs. Elegant and intimate, the terrace evokes a timeless femininity, as if Virginia Woolf herself might be seated just out of view.
Instagrammable for: Seasonal floral installations, romantic lighting, and plush, cushioned seating under a canopy of blooms.
Brasserie of Light
Location: Selfridges, 1st Floor

A maximalist’s dream. With a crystal-encrusted Pegasus sculpture by Damien Hirst soaring above the dining room, Brasserie of Light is pure visual drama. The mirrored walls, art deco glamour, and sculptural lighting fixtures recall the golden age of Hollywood, but with a contemporary London pulse.
Instagrammable for: That flying horse, golden banquettes, and glossy, mirrored everything.
Daphnes
Location: South Kensington
Quintessentially elegant with an Italian souDaphne’s is timeless glamour wrapped in terracotta tones, Murano chandeliers, and lemon-hued marble. From the fresh-cut flowers to the white tablecloths and soft lighting, everything feels elevated yet intimate. It’s a little pocket of Milan in South Kensington.
Instagrammable for: Refined floral arrangements, the glowing bar, and effortless Mediterranean charm.
Circolo Popolare
Location: Fitzrovia

This flamboyant Italian trattoria by Big Mamma Group is known for its sheer joy factor. Walls lined floor-to-ceiling with backlit bottles, overflowing plants, oversized plates of carbonara, and Sicilian sunshine pouring through the windows—Circolo doesn’t do minimalism. It’s loud, warm, and wonderfully over the top.
Instagrammable for: The ceiling vines, theatrical touches, and a chaotic-but-chic inviting style.
The Ivy Asia, Mayfair
Location: North Audley Street

Step inside and you’re greeted with glowing green onyx floors, cherry blossom ceilings, and jade dragon sculptures. The Ivy Asia is unapologetically opulent, combining pan-Asian dining with maximalist interiors. It’s luxurious, layered, and built for celebration.
Instagrammable for: Every corner—especially the neon signs, pagoda-style booths, and cherry blossom bar backdrop.

Bacchanalia
Location: Mayfair
New to London’s elite dining scene, Bacchanalia is as decadent as its name suggests. Marble statues, Greco-Roman columns, and hand-painted murals create an atmosphere that feels part temple, part fantasy. Even the tableware is custom-designed, echoing the ancient-meets-modern aesthetic.
Instagrammable for: The grandeur—every frame drips with mythological elegance and gilded detail.
Whether you’re in it for the pictures or the plates (ideally both), these spaces are definitely worth the visit.
